Facebook - Information and Limitations

The Facebook API has certain limitations that can affect third-party platforms like Swonkie in providing detailed reports. Below, we explain the main restrictions and important information regarding Facebook page reports on the platform.


Available Data When Adding a Page in Swonkie

First Addition:
When you add a Facebook page to Swonkie for the first time, the report data will only be displayed the following day.

Available History:
A history of 89 days is retrieved for most graphs, with the following exceptions:

  • Best Times to Post: Starts collecting data only from the date the page is added.
  • Labels: Data is also counted only after the page is added.
  • Post List: Only the last 60 posts are displayed.
  • Top Posts: Displays only the most recent 60 posts.

Report Specifics

Included Data:

  • Reports include organic and sponsored post data.
  • Data from paid ads is not included.

Data Updates:

  • Information can be viewed up to 1 day before the current date.
  • Example: If today is the 5th, data will be available up to the 4th.

Total Reach:

  • The total reach for a custom time range cannot be displayed.
  • Only the Total Reach for the last 28 days without repeated users is available, in the "Total Reach (28 days)" graph.

Other Important Limitations

Comments:

  • The total number of comments does not include responses from the page itself.
  • User sub-comments are counted only once per user.

Missing Data for Reels and Stories:

  • The Facebook API does not provide information on Reels or Stories.
