Ad Reports - Information and Limitations
The Facebook API has certain limitations that affect third-party platforms, such as Swonkie, that use the API to connect to the social network. Below are the key information and limitations related to Facebook ad reports.
Data Available When Adding a Page
First Addition: When you add a Facebook page with an ad account to Swonkie for the first time, report data may take up to 1 hour to be displayed.
Available History: When adding a new Facebook page with an ad account to Swonkie, 89 days of history are returned for all graphs, except for the following:
- Post List: Only the last 60 posts are returned.
- Top Posts: Only the last 60 posts are returned.
Specifics and Data Limitations
Ad Data: Data for ads (dark posts) and sponsored posts is presented.
Data Update:
- Data is available up to 1 day before the current date.
- Example: If today is the 5th, data will be displayed up to the 4th.
Report Updates:
- Data for the day is updated when the user enters the report for the first time that day.
- If the user does not enter the report and only exports the report via the list or receives it by email, the report will contain the most up-to-date data.
Total Reach:
- Total reach for the selected time range is not provided by the Facebook API. Instead, only the average reach is displayed.
